HI -

although I've 'grilled' outdoors most of my life, I know almost nothing about smoking meat ... recently, I tried making some beef jerky on my little portable grill, and was hooked ... it turned out great, although, it was a great deal of work, not having the proper type of grill ... after some research, I ordered the MasterBuilt 7-in-1 grill/smoker, a rib rack, and the Taylor remote thermometer, recommended on this site ... portability, and choice of fuels (charcoal or propane), made it a good choice for me ... I live as a fulltime RVer (since a forest fire), and cook most of my meals, outdoors on the grill ... great website, I've been reading up !
