Still a perty darn good stuffer. Some folks have a problem with the meat oozin up over the plate an fix that by cuttin a piece a poly cuttin board what fits a bit tighter in the drum.

Get that all cleaned up an start stuffin some sausage!

Is that cast iron?

Looks heavy.

What you have there is about 100 years of classic sausage Enterprise 8 quart from the looks of it. Clean her up, bolt her down and put her to use!

To save on cleanup, try using 2 gallon zip lock bags. Snip off a corner and pull it through the spout hub and lock the stuffing tube down over it:

If you take off the stuffing plate, the push screw will come completely out, and you can unbolt the top to effectively completely dismantle it for cleaning. The screws might need a good wire brushing to get it working smoothly. To prevent any further rust, give it a light wipe down with Crisco and season it like a cast iron skillet. The decorative paint scheme they used is a work of art.
