Frankly, I am not too worried about these tests, though there are definitely a number of unknown variables and outcomes to their expiraments. Hopefully they will provide a lot of useful data and insight into the origins of the universe, as well as possible discoveries that will enrich the scientific community. For what that thing costs, they better come up with something. Maybe they'll find a more efficient fuel than charcoal or propane for smoking.

I'm not worried about them exploding the planet or anything -- I'm not one of those people. I'm actually quite excited about it because some new elements could be discovered and/or created as a result of these experiments -- elements that could advance space travel technology quite significantly with propulsion and such.

BTW, the most efficient fuel for smoking would be electricity generated entirely by wind and solar.
