pretty new to this sight but a long time griller/barbq'er, also won many a ribbon in chili cookoffs. just bought a ecb for smoking just outside the back door since it's -5 right now. i can step outside for a few minutes and be done back insode next to the fireplace. nice sight you got here

nice avatar pic, welcome to the smf, I am down to three piles of snow in the yard and don't even want to remember -5 at this point.
 
i wish i had 3 "piles of snow" i got only one pile about 4 1/2 feet deep and it goe's from one side of the property to the neighbors . should be gone by may day. hahaha. thats ok though, i can still get outside and cook delicious meats
 
I was feeling sorry for myself, wallowing in my own version of cabin fever. Then I read your post. Crap! It's downright balmy here now. Good to have you along. Isn't "crazy Alaskan" redundant.

well i got my little r2d2 ecb ready for dinner tonight. since the temps are a rising to 20f it's really going to be a great day. i got corned beef to grill that i'll turn into pastrami. also i think i'll try some grilled cabbage. should make a good sammich. or a nice dinner along with some ice cold beer... yummy..
