Hi all,

Have been searching around loking for a rotisserie for my 22.5 Weber grill. I've seen several online, and it's shown in the picture of the setup, but none of them explicitly state that the rotisserie ring is included.

For instance, on Amazon.com this is what's listed under Product Features:

Fits all 22-1/2-inch charcoal kettle grills
Heavy-duty electric motor
Counterbalance for even cooking and less motor wear
One piece spit for greater strength
Wooden rod handle

I'd assume that the first line is referring to the ring, right?

So if you have purchased the Kettle Rootisserie, tell me - it does come with the ring, right??!!

Thanks.

Yo RibAreTasty, I have a weber kettle and weber gas grill and the weber rotisserie for the gas grill.

I have had a rotisserie for the Genesis for almost 10 years. I may have used it 25+ times. The main reason for not using it more frequently, is it adds to the work, both prep and cleanup. The obvious meat is chicken on the rotisserie just like you get from the store. But my wife prefers Weber Kettle cooked whole chicken using the indirect method. Its a toss up on work. Believe it or not the main thing I used the rotisserie for was smoking Pork Butt and Roasts. I would tie the butts and roast with butchers twine to keep them from falling apart. Use a single burner lay a chunk of wood on the flavorizer bar covering the burner. I could do three pork butts or roasts, and they tasted great. I did do some small turkey's too.

The weber kettle using a roasting rack indirect with coals on two sides and a drip pan in the middle is about the easiest most delicious chicken you can cook.

I would save that money a put it toward your lang or klose smoker.

Agreed, and is how I've been doing my chix for a while now.

Just wanted something "new" to do [was also looking at the Ribolator for yet another new toy purchase] - before the Klose/Lang get here
