Full packer with Qview

Got up early and put a full packer on the smoker this morning. No prep pics from last night. Sorry.




It was injected with Butchers BBQ brisket mix and apple juice. Coated with a a rub from a competitor friend of mine. Into the fridge for the night then on the smoker at 6. Will update with more qview later in the day.

Looks like we are tormenting two area's of the front range today Dave. Got to love the smell of brisket cooking. My neighbor is ready for the game today for sure!

Finally done. Here are pics of the point cut up. It turned out great. The flat was even better.



Plated up and on the table. Dinner was enjoyed by all. Plenty left over for sammies this week.
