I know shame on me, but its been a while since I've been on so I thought I would redo my welcome. I am a comp cooker mostly KCBS, I own and operate a small meat processing plant. We cook with 2 FEC cookers and have 2 Southern Pride 200's in the shop, and for grills I have 2 pellet grills and the Cookshack char broiler.

AND.....You know Leroy Bone.

Welcome back. I definitely need to try some of that brisket marinade. I've been adding a little bit of rub to broth and apple juice and have been pretty happy with it.

Glad to read that you're back in action. It's all good my friend.

I'll be around, but I'm not competing. My brother, Dale cooks as "Bass 'Akard BBQ" from here in Enid. Ther Red Dirt looks like it is going to be a good time, even though the facilities are supposedly changing a bit. I plan on coming by and meeting you. Looks like you did well at the American Royal. Congrats!

what's going on david, good to hear you made it through our ice/snow storm. great bend going to be your cook-off? talk to you soon.

That will be our first of probably around 30 this year. Man I'm tired just thinking about that many. See you on the trail.

Thanks to everyone for the open arms.

Welcome to SMF and I look forward to see your Q and getting to know your methods. Any friend of dirt's is a friend of ours.
