Hey Guys, I'm Tony from Queensland, Australia. I got a lilttle "Smokey Joe" Weber and a bag hickory wood chunks for Xmas. I smoked up a couple of pieces of Rib Eye on the bone for my first smoke without really knowing what the hell I was doing. As luck would have it the steaks turned out great and now I'm hooked and keen learn all I can, which is how I tripped over your site!

Looking forward to learning heaps and sharing my experiences along the way.

Cheers

Tony.

Hi Tony, welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of information here.
Whereabouts in Qld are you. I was born near Roma but worked in a great number of country towns and Brisbane. Have lived in the US since 1987 and now reside in South Carolina.

Hey Pete

I grew up in Rockhampton. I moved on from there to the Gold Coast where we've been living for the past 11 years now.
