in a pineapple under the sea
Hi everyone. Just found your forum(link posted on a firearms forum). I've been doin bbq for about 8 years now. Pretty much everything I know is from trial and error. My smoker/grill is brinkman. Nothing fancy. Bought it at a Sam's club.
I am presently gathering materials to build my own smoker. My old one is getting in pretty rough shape. I'm also always looking for good recipes.
Looking forward to talking with you all. Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome aboard, glad you found us. Many of us started by trial and error. For me, it was more error LOL. Then I came across this place while searching google for a method for smoking jerky and I have been addicted ever since. If only I new about this place years ago. Great group of people here, and more smoking info than you can imagine. Don't hesitate to ask questions, someone will always jump in to help you out.

If your building your own smoker, there are plenty of builds on here, just browse thru the particular style that your going after and maybe get some ideas as well as post photos of your own build. We would like to see that for sure.

Welcome again, and look forward to your participation here
