I'm sick of the cold! I got a Char-Griller Duo for Christmas, and have only used it once. I did a slab of ribs, 3-2-1 method on Christmas eve, and they turned out great. It was cold (30's) and windy, and I had a hard time initially getting the temps up. When I finally decided I needed to add alot more charcoal to the box, things started working better. I said I wasn't going to use it again until it warmed up to around 60, but I'm tired of waiting. I've got a small 4.5 lb. Boston Butt and a slab of spareribs rubbed down in the frig. In the morning it should be in the high teens or 20's here. I hope there is no wind, or I'm going to be miserable. It usually is not this cold here in Texas, but now that I want to use my new smoker---go figure. So much for global warming!! ( I think that is all a bunch of BS). If I'm miserabe after a few hrs, I can always finish in the oven, though I don't want to. Anything I should do or be aware of with this kind of weather?
Sorry for the long post.
