Hello all. Newbie here from Chandler, Az. This is a great site with tons of info. I recently refurbed a CharBroil smoker & I am just starting to get into smoking. I love to grill, drink beer, & cook. I attached a few pics of the refurb.

Here are a few pics of the first cook on it. I did a rack of ribs & a tri-tip marinated in a korean sauce.

Welcome to SMF. A lot of knowledgeable people here to help ya with about any type of smokin ya want to do. Where bouts ya from in Az?.
The reason I laughed bout you being from Az is that my step-daughter is riding me pretty good bout coming back out there to live in Sedona. Lived there many years ago. I think she paid everyone on here from Az to hound me about how nice it is out there. Ya'all don't have to tell me how nice it is, I know it is.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

I live in the Phx metro area. 65° degrees right now. Perfect for cookin outside.

Welcome Chandler, Bullhead City myself. Thats a nice refurb you did there. I'm not very handy with that sort of thing so I have to ask, did you have to sand all that rust off? I'm sure you couldn't just paint over it right? Also that tri-tip looks awesome
