Well guys i know your going to kill me again about cooking ribs in the oven especially after yesterday but in order to make people happy at our christmas get together im going to cook 2 racks in the oven and 2 racks on the smoker, since some people in my family dont like smoked meats. So what i was going to do is go ahead and rub them now and wrap them up refrigerate them until christmas morning and cook them before our family gt together. So sitting in the fridge for a couple days, is that ok?

dude, I feel your pain..

not one person in my family likes smoked meat except me.. every time i smoke meat it's for me only.

my dad will dig on some ribs now and then but he'd rather have country ribs out of the pressure cooker.

I know i dont know whats wrong with people. Is it ok if i leave the brisket bone in when i cook them. these are the 1st ribs i bought with it in them. The reason i ask is because i cant find my sharp knife, i think the kids been playing with them again. I found one of my knives in the shep once being used to cut wood, a dam 20 dollar knife

I would not leave the rub or marinade on them for more than over night. It will overpower the actual flavor of the meat. BUT if you want to save last minute rush you can cook them a couple of days ahead, then toss them in the oven wrapped in foil for a bit to reheat them. Just make sure the oven is between 180-250'ish, I am thinking if you get it to hot it will want to burn them instead of gently reaheating them.

Best of luck! Hope you have a good Christmas!

Here are a slab of ribs, im only showing one slab since they all are going to look the same
