Basspro is out of stock of gosm. Now I need a smoker, gas or electric, and have to start the whole flippin process over! I may just go with one of those biscuit burners. Maybe I'll bake my bbq in the oven! I am so pissed!

I would go with the MES 40" before I bought a Bradley, I made the mistake of buying a Digital Bradley 6 rack and am now going to get rid of it and buy a new MES 40". In my opinion the Bradley is Junk...

Agree. I have a GOSM. I was thinking of upgrading to a Bradley, but after googling pros and cons of the Bradley smoker, even in the face of a local store offering a very hefty discount on the 6 - I still ran away. Were too many columns on how to fix the feeding system, cost of the biscuits, being stuck with their flavors of smoke, chamber heating element inadequate, nah, no way, no how.
Is Basspro the only store in your area? I found my GOSM at Walmart. There are several other stores that have an offering in one form or another, and Bellingham is not that large a city. Plus, you gotta remember, most major retailers don't consider winter time to be 'BBQ" season and reduce their stock levels accordingly.

i was just at the basspro here oklahoma city and they had a few ...why couldnt you get one shipped to you....or check some other local stores and see what they got but keep in mind that what was said earlier winter is really not BBQ season ....good luck

Thanks guys. Basspro shows them out of stock store wide. I found a brinkman gasser but wanted something heftier. I went with the MES 40. It's seasoning as we type. I'll get the gasser this summer i guess.

I ws gonna say that if you have a gander near you go and get a Smoke Vault they are some great smokers for sure.

I saw the Smoke Vault 24 at Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday on sale for $249.00.
