Hello all. My name is Zach, I'm a millwright for the Ithaca area of New York. Just recently got a brinkman electric smoker. since getting it on thursday i have been reading on this site every chance i get, WOW there is alot of information here, have also signed up for the ecourse. The wind has been crazy here for the last two days, supposed top let up and the meat will be on. I enjoy the outdoors, mostly hunting, fishing and camping/hiking. Make the yearly trip for salmon and the local ice fishing, gonna try some smoked pike and walleye as soon as we get ice! Well happy smokin. Zach

Welcome to the forums Zach. There's an incredible amount of info in here, and anything you can't find all ya have to do is ask. looking forward to your Q-view.
One tip to get ya started is to build a wind break around your ECB cause these cold winds will suck the heat right out of your smoker.
Oh yeah and I'm about 60 miles north of ya near Cicero.
Good luck on the maiden smoke!

Welcome to the SMF. Pull up a seat and join in. Looking forward to some qview.
