Hi. My name is Claus and a few months back i was given a smoker by athe dad of a friend of mine. I used it for the first time about 6 weeks ago and I LOVE IT. Now i smoke something almost every weekend, feeding collegues and friends. I have a New Braufels Bandera smoker and am just starting to figure out how the smokin' business works. But more on that note later, just wanted to introduce myself real quick. Oh, and how can i live in Kansas City, 10 min from Arthur Bryant's, and not be an excellent smoker cook??? Later, all.

Welcome!

I have a MES and an ECB so I can't really give you a good comparison- sorry! I'm sure someone will come along that has experience with a Bandera to help you out. If not, feel free to start a new thread with that question and Bandera in the title and it might get noticed more quickly by those that have them/it.

Thanks all. I have no doubt i will learn all kinds of stuff in here.
