Hello from Richmond

Thread Starter
Hello everyone. I have recently discovered this website and finally got around to joining. I have been smoking for about a year now in my Masterbuilt. Super happy with it but I am looking to get more adventurous in what I smoke. So far I have done ribs, butts, chicken, turkey, cornish game hens, fish and most recently cheese. I am still in search of a butcher where i can get real meat. Last month I made a cheese smoker that attaches to my masterbuilt. I dont know much about computers so I am not sure how to get my pictures down to 19.5kb so I can upload them. Any suggestions? Thanks for all the great postings that I have already read. I am learning more everyday.

I have the same issue with my pictures they are way to big. The trick is to go to photo bucket.com and use that to post your pictures. Basically you upload your pictures to their page and then you post a link on SMF to your pictures and we click on your link and check out your QView. We all love Qview here!!!!! Photo bucket is free and works good. I'm sure someone will be along soon to post good detailed info on how to work photo bucket if you aren't able to figure it out. Well to the Forum there is tons of great info here!!!

First off welcome Beronicles to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.
Here's a link to photobucket it's free and easy to download pictures. Then if your really new to smoking Look up the E-course.
It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.
