Box of goodies/exchange with zjaybird!

Thread Starter
Found a box of some goodies when I got home earlier.
Have a few exchanges going on so I was curious which it was.
This one was from zjaybird, I was really excited about this because one item I was really interested in trying was a bottle of Billy Gomers Cherry Chipotle BBQ sauce.

Besides that bottle there were many other great things included...

Schultz's Gourmet Premium Seasoning and Rub-very good, a bit of salt, black pepper and a hint of celery flavor followed by a great smoothness (pretty sure they use raw sugar in it) and the end is a nice bite with a light lingering aftertaste.

Next was Golden Toad Cajun/Creole Seasoning- Wow! That was what I first thought, right away you get a nice kick combined and followed by the herbs in the bottle that you can actually see! A nice steady heat level throughout with a touch of citrus and underlying sweetness, this stuff is great! I mean GREAT!

Included but haven't tried yet was
Peach Chipotle Sauce for dipping and cooking, Gilberto's Gourmet Goodness Sort of Smokin' Mango Salsa, some smokey serrano hot sauce that includes poblanos from The Boulder Hot Sauce Company, some butter toffee peanuts, a bag of gourmet dreid chipotles PDT_Armataz_01_34.gif, some Boyers Coffee Denver Blend, and something I really got a kick out of, some KGBlend coffee-it has Russian writing, Russian colored and claims it is "an interrogating blend" I couldn't stop laughing. I gave that bag to my Mom because she has to grind her own whole beans for coffe, claims the oils they spray on the machinery they use to grind them in factories gives her an allergic reaction...

Oh, and lastly the Cherry Chipotle BBQ, really good stuff with more of a kick and deep smoky flavor than I would have expected. Inital flavor is nice and sweet followed by the smokyness and then comes a bit of a bite finsihed by a bit more of a nice kick. Gotta run to the store so I can get a few cuts of meat and try out a few of these on some Q.
Thanks Jay, great package! Hope you enjoy the things I sent.
Love the exchange program PDT_Armataz_01_34.gif

Your welcome on the exchange, glad to do business with you. I told Beer B Q, that this exchange thing is hard. I go to the store, start picking out local items and next thing, I know I have picked up too much and now have to decide what to put back HA HA . Seriously thou, I have to learn to hold back a little. You can only fit so much in the large priority box from USPS. I wonder if I could fit a grocery cart in a USPS box and just ship it. I am willing to exchange with anybody, I am still working on trying everything from my exchange with Justpassingthru. Saving some of the items for when the folks come out for Christmas, so they can try them too.
That DazBog coffee is made here in Denver and yes it is Russian, I personally have not tried it yet, but the commericals are funny.biggrin.gificon_mrgreen.gif
