Thats pretty cool. So how does that thing work? Light one end and it smolders in a spiral pattern towards the center? I will have to check out their web site.

very cool indeed! that looks like it would work great for cold smokes. Has me thinking about doing some cheese!

It is definitely different... the test meat looks good...

First I have meat in brine,1 liter of water and 240 g salt

for 5 days

remove from the brine and put it in plain water, for 1 hours

Dry the meat thoroughly dried
dry over night

and then smoke for 3 times

The taste was good for first time

that is true,I've already tested a bit
at least 8 hours,I once had 12 hours

I hope that pork loin tested really good because you put an awful lot of work into it. Now that smoking contraption seems like it worked well and it just smokes it way aroung the grid or spiral tray. I would also like to see the website if yo have it around.

I've checked out that site before nice stuff there the one thing on that site I would love to get is there stacker for the WSM. the only dealer around me is 2 1/2 hours away...

yes that is possible
you can use it also in a paperboard box,it does not heat or almost anything

I am somewhat suprised, not at the results of this test or at the device used...

But more so at the fact this device is new to this forum... Doing a simple google search in my quest for more knowledge of cold smoking, the proQ device was one of the first results... I figured this was a common trade item around here for people that did not want to do cold smoking the traditional way.
