Hey to everyone and first let me say was a awesome site this is.

My name is Craig and I live in Pensacola with my wife and dogs. I work as a aircraft mechanic at NAS Pensacola.

I have always been a griller for many years and consider myself pretty good at it and really wanted to try smoking food. I got a Brinkman vertical at Wally World and did a few pork shoulders that turned out pretty good and decided its time to move up a little.

A couple of weeks ago got a new Char-griller Smokin Outlaw from Academy and with the mod's I have found on here ready to give it a shot and get some quality food going.

I do enyoy the outdoors from fishing to hunting since I grew up in Indiana loving the outdoors came easy. Major football fan and nascar.

Looking forward to being able to post up some pictures of some finished products and hopefully in time from ya all's knowledge be able to spread some on to another newbie

Hello Craig, and welcome to the SMF. Congrats on the new smoker, you're in for some fun and good tasting food as well.

Hey thanks for all the welcome aboards. I plan on using the smoker this weekend on some 3-2-1 ribs. So far on the vertical I had I did some pork shoulders and enjoyed the experience of smoking and of course the taste. Looking forward to some more meals on the smoker.
