Hi,

Just joined up here, and just got a used smoker yesterday, a GOSM that runs off of propane. Thought I'd drop by and pick up some tips.

You will learn to LOVE your GOSM - It makes great BBQ and you can kind of set-it-and-forget it.

One suggestion - get a Maverick ET-73 remote thermometer - Monitors both the food and the temp in the smokers chamber - I can work on the car, watch TV, etc. and at a glance tell if all is ok with the GOSM and my food.

You will enjoy this site - lots of great info and people!

When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...
