We are starting to run out of lunch meat and I think we saw a reuban on the tv so lets make a pastrami. This one is from Sam's about a 6-7 lb corned beef so I soaked it overnight changing the water alot. Then I rubbed it with a made up concoction of CPB and Jamacian jerk seasoning, paprika, garlic, cumin, and some other stuff too.
Ok some of us don't have all the toys like Jerry's (weed burner) has so some of us have to make due this is my version "The Toy Burner" Hey it's the first time on a charcoal smoker The Bandera so give me a break ok.

After about a hour and time for the beans something the wife threw together

So the bandera did alright it is alot differant from the Gosm and this whole charcoal thing takes alot to keep it going but in all not a bad thing but we'll have to see if it taste better than the gassers after this pastrami maybe a brisket.
Ok now to the pizza with pulled Pork from the wedding. Alright I just got around to posting it now it has some my bbq sauce and alittle marinara sauce mixed.
The wife got it out and started without me.
Another old one this is the bacon I started before we when to Germany
back to the pastrami a taste for the cook and then some sliced and a sammie soon
Well thats it for now so we are all caught up with the smokes.
