Jeff's Naked Rib Rub w/Chicken Breast

WOW!!!! Worth every cent. Just smoked some chicken breast on my SMV-24

Brine
2 quarts water
1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
1 Cup Kosher Salt
1/4 cup Apple Cider
Squirt Lemon juice

Brined 2 hours rinsed and patted dry then rubbed with EVOO and coated with Jeff's Rub. Let sit 1 hour then smoked starting at 250 then up to 315. Took chicken up at 165-170 foiled for 1 hour. Called media to report the best chicken I've ever had :-)

There was someone who asked if Jeff's rub was any good the other day and we should have you speak to them. I know it's good and you did a great job with your smokepoints.giffor just pulling off anpther of many great smokes tp come. I'm glad you like everything here so keep up the good work yo are the reason we all do this here, You and the love of smoked food.

As my daughter says "Dads World Famous Potatoes".

General ingredients (seem to change from time to time):

Diced Potatoes
Diced yellow onions
Worcestershire
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter (be generous)
Garlic Powder
Kosher Salt
Black Pepper
Mexican style shredded cheese added during the last few minutes

Note: It takes a long time to cook them in a smoker (4 hours this time and I cranked it up the last few hours). Also stir once an hour. They need to be cooked until the potatoes are soft.
