Sorry I didn't take any pictures before or durring the smoke.
Got kinda busy.
I smoked this tritip over apple wood, took it up to 138* then foiled for 30 min. in a cooler, covered with a towel turned out really good......my best tritip so far.
Yummy !!!!

That definatly looks juicy and awesome. Great job there Fork atleast you wouldn't be hungry on your alnighter with the picnic

That's right I learned, after the first picnic !
tonight it's about 78* outside and my smoke temp is holding much better then the first time around , so I have high hope's of sneak'in in a little nap.

You must be a mind reader.......lol
I spent Sat. night with tri tip grilled bell peppers , sweat red onion , jalapeno all rolled up in a tortilla and lots of Budwiser.
Oh and a few short naps out on the hammock.
