Tardeada at El Rancho Be-Bop

My house to Whittier, CA :926.6 miles 14 hours 32 minutes at the speed limit...... Just making plans for end of summer next year....

The chicharrón's looked real good as well as the beans as well as the beer as well as the stew as well as the salid.... I would of liked to see pics of the party so I could of felt like I was there.

Hey Rich! Beautiful site and awesome pics too. You all had some kind of tardeada- magnifico! Please tell Gloria that Mrs Rivet and I loved her salad and are dying to know where she got that great bowl to make it in. Looked very cool and my wife wants to make a salad like that for her parent's annual family get together in November.

Of course Gloria is absolutely correct in her frijoles de la olla receta. Cannot make good beans without lard. That's a fact, so if you cut down on the fats everywhere else you can splurge on some real homemade beans.

For some reason Coco's chicharrones picture looked like another stew~ maybe the pic didn't load? That's too bad cause I really wanted to see his pork rinds! That's a snack near and dear to my heart.

Glad you all had a great time, and don't think you should really close down the Rancho Be-Bop's gatherings at the end of official summer....isn't it always great weather over there ?
