I got some ribs on sale yesterday for $2.69/lb. I grabbed 2 racks. These ribs are cryo packed, but not enhanced so it is a great deal. Worthe the hour or so I had to drive out of my way home last night.

I had seen a marindae this good ol' boy uses to inject his pork butts with, and also throws his ribs in before rubbing. I came up with my own version

2 cups apple juice
1/2 cup water
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp soy sauce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1 tsp kosher salt
juice of 1 lemon

marinated the ribs for about an hour(I didn take a pic of the ribs in the marinade), patted dry, and applies a light rub. Using a ribs rack for the first time, and doing my typical 4 - .5 - .5 method(4 hours unwrapped, 30 mins tented with a splash of apple juice, and 30 minutes unwrapped).

Curious to see if the marinade makes any difference, it tased nice.

thanks for looking

Wife just picked up 4 racks 88¢ lb. Sorry just had to gloat. Grocery stores down here are having some kind of rib war or something. Enjoy your weekend.

What a great menu you have going for the day.
Did spin dip and srtichoke spin dip in the smoker before and it was excellent so I have no doubt the dip will be awesome along with everything else.
Gotta go start up the sNp and toss on a few ribs of my own so I'll be checking in regularly to drool over yours once they come off.

thanks fire it up.

The dip has about 15 minute left, ribs, and spaghetti are ready.

tic..toc... Im hungry...

ribs came out moist with alot of flavor, liked the rib rack for freeing up space in the GOSM.

smoked for 4 hours, and then foiled with about 2 tbsp of apple jucie for 30 minutes, then let rest, they didnt need anymore time on the smoker.

thanks for looking, I really didnt notice much difference with the marinade, maybe if I did it for more than 2 hours I would. These were moist ribs with a nice crust, I used less rub than usual, and liked the increased pork taste.
