Another one from Texas

Thread Starter
Howdy. I'm Bad Andy from Cuervo Acres (near Princeton) Texas. Been lurking on this forum for a while and finally decided to join in. Been smokin' on the same New Braunfels offset smoker for about 17 years. Mainly briskets, but lately have been experimenting with pork. Still don't have my ribs down exactly to what I want, but still working on it. My wife and I are also looking at beginning making our own sausages. Just bought my wife a gas grill for her to experiment with ..... don't want her messin' with my smoker!tongue.gif Anyway, looking forward to being on the list. Thanks!

Welcome to SMF. Check out the 3 2 1 method of doing ribs. Once you get good at doing them this way they are to die for.

I also live near Princeton, however its not Princeton texas, it's Princeton BC.

First off welcome to SMF. You already know how good the place is so I'm glad you came out of the darkness and saw the light. We are always glad to have new people here cause they might just look at things and little differant then we do and that always make for some really differant way to do things. I hope you have the how to's and what if's on the whole Qview thing and if not go here:
and it will show you how to post pictures so we can see what your smoking on and with and what your smoking. As far as your sausage want just listen to piney he's always making sausage with something and like he said there are alot of people here making sausage. So hurry and go get something to smoke.

Welcome, Glad to have you with us. This is the place to learn, lots of good info and helpful friendly Members.

Be sure to check out Jeff's 5 Day Smoking Basics eCourse, you can find it here it's "FREE"...5 Day e Course

Everyone here enjoys seeing the qview so be sure to post plenty of pics... Large ones that us old people with bad eyes can see.

When you uploading to photobucket I always use the Large img setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...
