Hey guys my name is Matt and I'm by no means new to the art of Q. I have 2 smokers that I use every weekend and for the fist time I'm trying to build one from scratch. Ive done everything from brisket to hot dogs. I'm out to learn everything I can to make my Q better!! I'm also looking for pointers in building the new one.

Welcome to the site Matt.
Glad you joined up with us. Can't wait to hear some of your experiences and learn some tricks from you as you sure seem to know your Q by now.
At the same time I'm sure you will be able to learn lots from other members of the site.

Welcome, Glad to have you with us. This is the place to learn, lots of good info and helpful friendly Members.

Be sure to check out Jeff's 5 Day Smoking Basics eCourse, you can find it here it's "FREE"...5 Day e Course

Everyone here enjoys seeing the qview so be sure to post plenty of pics... Large ones that us old people with bad eyes can see.

When you uploading to photobucket I always use the Large img setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

Welcome to the SMF. Glad to have you aboard.

First off welcome Matt to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are alot of good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking and even your smoker. There are plenty of people here that have built smokers and I'm sure one will come out and say howdy pretty soon so hang in there. Ok so you have to whole picture thing (Qview here) down pat. So the next thing is go smoke something and post it so go now get something.
Welcome To The Addiction.

You and Brian, the other new guy from NE, and Wutang and I all need to get together and do some serious cooking. Welcome to the SMF!

Welcome to SMF. The big Yellow box looks really interesting so far. Are you doing a reverse flow kind of thing with it? I'm trying to figure out what it started out as. It looks very promising and it sure had a solid trailer base on it. Quite heavily built. Going to be a nice looking unit when you're done with it.

Really, we will need to see lots of qview of your build.

Hint Hint!
