Where can you get the type ribs they serve at sonnys?

And no i cant stand sonnys but it was the only way to explain the ribs.
memaws brbq is where its at in florida!! What kind of ribs are they and why cant you find them at the store? i think i like them more than babybacks.

But since I've never heard of Sonny's I just Googled it. If you did that, you'd see that their menu says they sell St. Louis Cut ribs.

That's what you want to look for in the store or ask your butcher to provide..

OR - like many other folks here, I cut my own St. Louis style ribs.

There are a bazzilion tutorials/how-to videos on the net, dedicated to showing you how to take regular old SPARE RIBS (much, much cheaper than Baby Backs, ususally) and cut them into St. Louis style ribs.

Just Google "St. Louis Cut Ribs" or maybe St. Louis Style Ribs" and watch!

You can probably also find threads or vids on sites like this one...
 
Ask the butcher sometimes Winn Dixie has them out. Where in Florida is Memaw's BBQ?
 
there is actually 2 now one is in palm bay and the other is beachside Indian harbor beach
