Today I am smoking two pork butts and a slab of baby backs. I put the butts on this morning at 0530 they are looking good so far. The ribs are coming off around 1pm.

Hope you enjoy the pics

what sort of rub or toehr seasonings are you using? any sauce?

my rub is just a basic paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard, and brown sugar. Thats for my butts,
for the ribs i just very lightly dust with the same but i rub it in so that the meat just changes to a redish color, then mop it down with a sauce i made this morning.
cooked down onion
can of tomato sauce
brown sugar
can of busch light (only beer i had bust still delicious)
liquid smoke
shot of jim beam
turned out ok first time making my own sauce so i'm sure i can do better next time.
Really looking forward to smoking a fatty
