Hello folks,
Someone passed on to me a very simple marinade that was used on chicken, and I think it went down with the site crash. I don't remember ratios, but it did include beer, lime juice, garlic powder, worchestershire, salt & pepper, and maybe something else. I used it on a brisket and it was killer. Wish me luck folks.
Thanks.

Good Luck Rich.I have been doing a lime juice with herbs, garlic etc on my chicken pieces and love it.

Sounds great.I am sure you will give us the results, opinion.

Hey Rich, does this look like it?

Lime Juice & Beer Marinade

1/2-cup beer
1/3-cup lime juice
2-cloves garlic, minced
2-tbsp minced fresh parsley
1-tsp chili powder
1/2-tsp ground cumin
1/4-tsp ground coriander
1/4-tsp salt
1/4-tsp pepper

In a large bowl, whisk together the beer, lime juice, garlic, parsley, chili powder, cumin, coriander, salt and pepper

Thanks for the recipe Paul, but it's not the one I was looking for... but I will try yours in the future. Thanks my friend.

Here is one I found on the net that might be closer...

Another super easy marinade that makes awesome brisket, chicken, ect. is a jar of hot salsa (your brand pref.), juice from 1 or 2 limes, 1/2 cup veg. oil (or 1/4 cup if you don't use the whole jar of salsa), salt to taste.

Mix it all up in a bowl put in ziploc with meat overnight. Simple easy and tastes super good!

Thank you all for your contributions, you guys came up with some good stuff. I've decided to shoot from the hip on the marinade, and right now I've got something in the smoker. I'll post the smoke later. Gracias amigos.
