So I have been plotting a way to put wheels on my 40" MES and had gone as far as buying the casters from Lowes. I was about to start working on a frame when a thought hit me. Why not use the stand/cart that my old grill sat on since we just put a new gril in the outdoor kitchen? Here are some before, during and after pictures. It ended up being an almost perfect fit. I had just enough room on the sides to put a small piece of padding to keep the side from rubbing. I drilled holes in the board on the bottom and screwed the bolts for the legs through that and back into the bottom to hold it down. I still need to dissassemble it and paint the wood but all in all I think it turned out great.

Grill before the teardown.

Halfway through the process.

The final step is going to be mounting and hooking up one of the small disposable propane tanks to the side burner that still works. Dont know if I'll ever use it but I'm not going to let it go to waste.

Nice, looks like a perfect fit.

Way to go on the Mod...
I have a old bbq in the garage, I might do the same, except the bbq grill section is the spacer that holds the whole cart together, you have a spacer bar that works for that. I will have to check it out.

That sure worked out great, almost like it was custom made for it.
