My second attempt at ribs on my smoker garnered the best ribs I've ever eaten!!!!!!!!!

No Q-view for y'all, just HUGE thanks for all the advice, from smoker mods, to smoking techniques. I'd be lost without your help.

Thankyoumuch!!!

There's no going back to whatever way you cooked ribs before. Taste buds do have memory!

Graet job on the ribs BUT let's talk about the Qvue. Go to the front page and go to for " new members " Look up photos and read it and read it and read it. Please for us take the pictures we are all little kids and you have the candy

Not even a pic of the leftover bones...

Ribs are just the tip of the iceberg!!

Sorry about the no Q-view.

My strategy was to do 2 butts, but while I was in the grocery store, I realized that if I timed it correctly, I could have some ribs ready for lunch!

Woke up at 6AM, the meat was on the Char-griller by 7, and the baby back ribs were ready for noon. I did a 2.5-.5-2 method. I poured a little non-alcoholic beer into the foil, cause my buddy left some of that crap at my house and I wasn't about to drink it or throw it away.

The trick (I think) was to only foil the baby backs for 30 minutes. I like it when you have to tug a little bit to get the meat off the bone. I also chose NOT to spritz or anything like that. No peeking.

My favorite quote I've stolen from these boards: If you're lookin, you aint cookin!!!!
