I found this site via a link from another bbq site. I really like the vast array of forums and look forward to learning and contributing.

I have been at this smoking meats for about 10 years or so. I use a Lyfe-tyme offset smoker and (because I have easy access to these woods) typically use pecan, hickory, and oak. My cousin gave me a bunch of mesquite and it is okay, but burns really hot! I like to cook just about anything, but have recently been hooked on chuckies and pulled pork butt.

Welcome aboard, Salty! It is a great place to share ideas and success stories. If you can, post up some pics of your Q for us to drool over! LOL!!!!!

Have fun and enjoy!

Eric
