It's starts on saturday with a couple of chickens with a side of chuck.

Fresh out of the smoker and resting before the consuming of mass birdage. Then it's rub the 2 bone rib and set it a nite nite. First time I've seen old Bay rub.

After about 1 to 1 1/2 hours and looking pretty good I think

Another look at 2 hours plenty of onions and garlic in the apple juice mixture.

You have to love that Thin Blue Smoke

unknown guest arrive oh no kids returning from fishing and a quick change they NOW they want a to have fish fry so quick fast in the cooler with towels. Then after 3 hours no kids, time for mom and dad to enjoy. Sorry not big enough for 4 grown kids and 3 babies. Really we're not bad parents well in this case yea we are.

A quick slice with henkal twin (scarey sharp) and whoop falls A thing of magic and a thing of culinary sweetness. DINNER
I have seen heaven

I would just love to thank all you guys and girls here for showing me that I could smoke this lovely hunk of meat into such perfection. I'd never have thought of smoking a prime rib. So thank you thank you ZZZZZZZZ

That's a thing of beauty. You could've shared the chicken. LOL

I've never seen Old Bay Rub either. Is it different than the regular seasoning? Or just repackaged for another group of people to buy?

No it's not regular old bay ( I always have that on hand) It's not like any other rub I've tried either. It also has a pretty good amount of heat they tell me I like it hot it's just plan smooth to me. Give it a shot Dude.

Nice job on everything, Mark. That prime ribe turned out great. You're not bad parents to want to have something nice for yourself instead of sharing it once in a while.

You deserve it.

Food looks incredible! Can't blame you for not sharing with the kids. My wife and I do that sometimes, so don't feel bad. Just last night, she got a good deal on salmon & scallops, but didn't buy enough for the four of us, and we made the kids fish sticks...

Luckily, they're not old enough to realize what they're missing yet.

Cooked this thing four about 5 to 6 hours at 240-250 internal temp was 140 when I pulled it. It sat in cooler for 3 hours and was still nice and hot. You have to love that cooler thing. Oh yea the chicken was for the kids on saturday so we're not that bad and I did cook the fish, hashpupples and coleslaw for them.
