Quick fix for dinner????

Of course you can, it just depends on the size of the chicken, is it pieces or a whole, even a whole may finish in time but you might be better off spatchcocking it, removing the backbone and sternum and lying it flat.
Or you could hit it with a few hours of smoke and finish off in a higher temp oven.
 
You could throw a potato, or abt or spam in there too with your chicken. Seems like I always end up adding more to my smoker than I can eat. lol
