This one is a little harder to answer I think but what can I look at in the way of wood usage. I know there are a 1000 variable involved but lets say using oak to cook 5 racks of ribs with the 3-2-1 method. How often do you add wood and how much each time.how much wood to get the smoker up to temp....Its an 84 so it has a large area to heat. How long does it usually take to heat up before cooking..
