Hey all, I am an extreme newbie, just got my first smoker, charboil with a
side box, don't have much time in the grilling/smoking area of food but far well everywhere else.

Welcome to SMF glad you joined us. You'll find lots of good info here as well as some great recipes. If you have questions just ask and someone will try to answer them for you. Have fun and happy smoking

Don't worry about the 'newbie' status-we were all there at the beginning. At least you'll get the benefit of the vast knowledge that you'll find here at SMF.
Grab a cold one, read up and find what you want to try first. Pork butts are always a good one to start out with, as they are a bit more forgiving if you happen to let the smoker get too hot.

Enjoy!
