hi folks,
i have been registered here for a while, i thought i would chime in an introduce myself. i enjoy fishing and camping and grandkids , smokin and grilling outside. i have a propane smoke n grille, been smokin some butts and chicken. about ready to get myself a charcoal/wood smoker. i have decided on a verticle type due to budgett and simplicity. going to start experiminting with different kinds of cuts of meat. would appreciate any ideas on what brand of smoker. i really enjoy reading all of yawls messages, they are very educational and entertaing.
thanks, from ga rick in griffin ga

Do yourself a favor and think about the size you want, THEN get the next size larger, you won't be dissappointed. Just my 2 cents worth.

And welcome to SMF

Rick welcome glad you decided to join in. Good luck with the search for the new smoker

Welcome. I agree get bigger than you think you want. You'll get hooked and start cooking more and more. But then again, it sounds like you might already have plenty of experience so you might already know what you want. Either way. Have fun
