B.E.C.B. Fattie - "Throwdown Entry"

Bacon. Egg. Cheese. Biscuit. Fattie

I work for Schmidts Sausage House in the summer so I headed down to the Village and grabbed some of their fresh Brats. Cut them open and used the sausage on the inside to roll my fattie.

On the grill almost ready to be taken off and sliced. Here are some pics.

The inventiveness and talent around here never stops amazing me.... who woulda thunk to put a biscuit inside a fattie? Wow, *laughing here* that's great!

That is one tasty looking fattie my friend. And a fine entry for the throwdown.

What was the texture of the biscut like after cooking? Did it get soggy?

It wasn't bad.... some had grease in it some didn't but it wasn't over loaded. I thought it might be a problem but wasn't that bad in the end.

Next time I do this i'm going to try to roll a bigger one to get more stuffing in it.

Man...I was thinking about doing something like that...that looks awesome! How was the biscuit? Did it get soggy?

The whole thing had a great taste to it... Im sure there was a lil soggyness to it but nothing that I noticed.

How about this...if it would work.
Take the fattie and cook it with the ingredients, then I wonder after you cool it some wrap it is biscuit dough and throw in the oven. I know people have wrapped fatties in a few different things then baked, but I don't know that I have seen biscuit dough tried. Though if someone has I would really love to know how well it turned out.
