I work for a manufacturer of cash handling equipment. Funny thing is, none of our direct customers would call. One of our VP's got the bright idea to hire out the service department to a company that makes equipment only remotely similar to what we make. They laid off their guys when they hired us. That made me feel like a Vulcher. But then, I had nothing to do with it either. Our contract with that company includes Saturday service 8-5. On the one hand, there aren't that many of their sites in my area, but on the other hand, the weekend guy covers for 8 techs. Oh well. I only have to do it once every 8 weeks, so it's not a problem.
