7 lb butt Slathered, rubbed and wrapped last night.

In the BBGOSM at 6:30 this morning. Nothing like the smell of hickory in the morning.

Updates as the day smokes on.

Finished after 15 hours.

Didn't get a pulled picture, but there was nice a smoke ring, and the flavor was great. especially after adding the finishing sauce. Will be doing this one again.

Looks like you had a really nice 1st pulled pork attempt. They only get better, and much easier, as you get more of them under your belt. Great job!

I wouldn't have had a chance at getting my first butt this good without you guys and this forum. This is a smoked meat paradise. I have not seen a forum that compares to how helpful the fellow cooks are. especially helpfull are the posts with qview.
