Just starting out. I purchased a used wood smoker (Klose "backyard chef") about 6 months ago. At first I was really disappointed with my results. I was in too much of a hurry. After I did a little research my results started to improve. Go figure. Anyway, lots to learn to say the least. It's great to have such a nice resource at our disposal. My wife's name is Cathy and I am Steve. We live a little north of Seattle in Marysville, WA. Talk to you all later.

Glad to see you here Steve, can't wait to hear more about your experiences, it's almost impossible to stop smoking. Once you smoke that first (insert favorite first smoked piece of heaven) it seems almost impossible to turn back. As another new member I can tell you that everyone on here has been great and given me so much incredibly wonderful and helpful advice and help anytime I ran into a problem or needed a help with a specific problem.
Enjoy your time on the site and good luck smoking
