Seems like an ok price our local grocery store had whole ribeyes on sale for 4.99 lb last week. Another meat market has them on sale for 3.99 lb quite often but they are the select cut so they are not the best cut of meat. But they are usually around 5.99 lb to 6.99lb

it just depends on what grade they are.
thats a good price for sure if they are choice grade
bout average if they are select grade
my local butcher every once in a while has ungraded bonless ribs he sells for 3.99.

I just happily paid 6.49 for Choice- Boneless. It's sitting on the counter now, waiting for the smoker later this afternoon...
