First fire in my new UDS

I put two fatties inside my new UDS for it's inaugural fire. It's been holding at 238* for about 1 1/2 hours with the ball valve 1/3 open. This thing is amazing. Check out that TBS. I'll post pics of the fatties when they're done. I was too rushed to take them from the start.

Thanks alot. I put a 9lb bag of kingsford in this time. I'm going to see how much ash I have and how long of a burn I can get. I'm thinkin w/ 1 valve open 1/3 I should last a while..I think

How do I make it offical?

I'll post my fatty pics tomorrow. The one that I didn't do but rub looks great. The other one looks like a kindergarten art project. I need to read up again on how to neatly roll a fattie....man it looks bad haha
