My name is Dave and I am in Florida. I have a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker. So far I have smoled chicken, deer and a butt. I'm going to try beef next.

Welcome Dave from North Carolina. i have a masterbuilt 7-in-1 gas. i really like the gas but i would like to try the electric. i would really have a hard time deciding what to buy if I was going to buy another.

Welcome aboard...if you're going to do beef, try a chuck roast. Toss on your favorite rub or just some salt, pepper, garlic powder and take it till 160 internal temp., wrap in foil and keep cooking until it hits 210 internal temp. Let it cool, pull the meat and pour the juices from the foil over it. It's really good stuff.
