Weekend brisket W/Qview

Finally found a decent brisket over the weekend. hope the pix come out o.k.

All dressed and ready for the smoker



Starting to take shape after 2 hrs



4hrs in and Need more beer(for me)



14hrs and it is time to eat.. Sorry guys no pics of the sliced meat had some hungry people waiting

Was it a whole packer or just a flat? Good luck on your brisket smoking adventure!

It was just the flat,seems like around the chicago burbs, when you mention a whole packer people look at you like you speaking a foreign language. Although Today, I found a couple of meat companys in chicago, that have whole packers. Thanks, and Happy Smokingicon_smile.gif

That's a good looking brisket. I guess I'm fortunate to live "out west" as I can find whole packers almost anytime at Sam's Club.
