Pork loin w/Qview

Well it's been cold, windy, icy....... you name it. Finally got some halfway decent weather and tried out some new modifications on the SNP. Made some new tuning plates and arched then slightly in the brake to match the firebox opening. Got a good burn on the new steel then get a loin out and did the usual maple syrup/ honey coat then applied some of Jeff's rub with some cayenne kicker for a little more spice. smoked with cherry and hickory and it came out real nice and juicy as you'll see. Limited Qview cuz the camera batteries were about shot.

I named this one Erain thanks to Cowgirl. :)

started slicing Erain with the BF slicing blade....

Done slicing and ready for mass consumption.......nice n juicy. ;)

The other one I named Erin..... Erain's twin..... :-D

Nice pink ring on the end slice and tender and juicy as well......

Taking some to a friend that wants to start smoking meat. He has an ECB that he never took out of the box. I think he'll be hooked after tomorrow. :)

Thanks for checking out my Qview. Glad I remember how to do this, seems like it's been forever. lol

Just an update and a couple things I forgot. Cooked these to 145 internal, foiled then back on to 155. Pulled and rested about 45 minutes before slicing. Erain is history and Erin is hiding in the corner of the fridge. Luckily I picked up another loin and a 14lb butt in a barter deal. Guess you could say I'm in hog heaven. lol
