This is also good for a venison roast: 8 Tbls. soy sauce, 4 Tbls. Old Grand Dad Bourbon, 1/4 tsp. ginger, 1/4 tsp. black pepper, 1 clove glaric(minced), 1/2 cup warm water. Blend ingredients together. Place roast in a zip lock bag(gal), pour marinade over roast, make sure you take all the air out of bag,zip up and put in frig for 3 hours or over nite. If it's a larger roast double the marinade. Enjoy

I'm adding this one to my list of things to try too! Looks great Smoken Yankee... keep em coming.

Nice to see someone is still into Old Grand Dad.

Sounds great. Years ago, I drank enough Old Grand Dad to marinade a battleship!

Looks like that would be a great combination of flavors. I haven't had Old Grandad before, so I might have to get a big bottle to try it out first!

Can't be too careful about the flavors you marinate with!

This has been in our family sence my mother was a little girl, just don't use the soy sauce that has alot of salt in it or you'll be drinking alot of water, beer or whatever you like.
