This is also good for a venison roast: 8 Tbls. soy sauce, 4 Tbls. Old Grand Dad Bourbon, 1/4 tsp. ginger, 1/4 tsp. black pepper, 1 clove glaric(minced), 1/2 cup warm water. Blend ingredients together. Place roast in a zip lock bag(gal), pour marinade over roast, make sure you take all the air out of bag,zip up and put in frig for 3 hours or over nite. If it's a larger roast double the marinade. Enjoy

Sounds great. Years ago, I drank enough Old Grand Dad to marinade a battleship!PDT_Armataz_01_04.gif

Looks like that would be a great combination of flavors. I haven't had Old Grandad before, so I might have to get a big bottle to try it out first! wink.gif

Can't be too careful about the flavors you marinate with!

This has been in our family sence my mother was a little girl, just don't use the soy sauce that has alot of salt in it or you'll be drinking alot of water, beer or whatever you like.
