My First Turkey Legs & Thighs w/q-view

never have done turkey legs and thighs before..and the state fair was just here and i thought i would do some legs and thighs..heres the begining



i was amazed how cheap these cuts were....so here we gp marinade them with some allegro for 24hrs

pulled them out this morning rinsed and gott the smoker going


when the smoker got up to speed put them on and let the good tbs roll



couple of hrs in....


done with some fixins and homemade bread





then finally plated up...very good we will definitealy do this again....

Looks good there phreak. I really wish I could get a mess of them thighs, legs are good but there just is somthin about those thighs ..........Good Job

Man..I dearly love a good smoked turkey leg! And those look like I'd love them! Never done thighs, but I have done chicken ones. Very tasty. I'll have to keep my eyes open. Heck, the wife might even eat those! Sigh.

I've smoked whole chix, whole turks, never pieces. Sounds like a great idea. Cook time must be pretty fast and I'm betting that flavor from the tenderizer, and then, small portion smoking...mmm. It's gotta be good, no doubt. Great idea. Looks like a winner to me!
