If this has been reported before, sorry about that. I know I did read it somewhere, but finally gave it a try when we got a new fridge with crisper bins with humidity controls. Placing the humidity on low, your jalapenos will stay fresh a LONG time. I have some that are over 12 days old now and are just now starting to show a few small wrinkles. Not bad

i dehydrate em........then turn into powder.......or keep to grind up later for FRESH powder..........or i freeze em whole, like i do my serronos........ceyennes, kung paos..........any fresh pepper

OR stick em in crisper.......for awhile.......maybe a week......no more, imho

Glad you can keep them that long Flash, mine start to go in about 0-10 days. Then it's salsa time.

My only reason was for ABT's, don't need to dehydrate them for that. We have on occasions bought too many or picked too many. Terrible to waste such a delicious item.
